The watch winder offers a fixed TPD: 2880 TPD (Turns Per Day). It has 4 rotation modes: Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), Clockwise + Counter-clockwise Mode, or None-Intermittent clockwise + Counterclockwise Mode rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.

Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

My impression is that top build winding unit – we’ve had winders in the past and the pillows were always an issue – either too big or too small – but these ones are adjustable and can fit any size watch. handsome LEDs, with excellent materials like wood and stainless steel. My husband’s favorite gift of all time and excellent for watch collectors. He really likes that it turns off when you open it up. It delivers about what I expected.

In daily use, i have a rather large collection of watches and this was a excellent find.The motors are surprisingly low-noise and the extra storage hold 6 watches at the bottom (useful to store quartz movements).The finish is very high build and I like the stop function when opening the lid.The internal light can be turned off but I believe is a tasteful touch. I would call it a dependable choice.

From my experience, the unit worked well for the first 6 months and then after that two of the rotating units that the watches sit in failed to rotate – the rotating mechanisms are very flimsy and not what I expected given the cost of the unit It has been a useful addition.

Excellent Choice If You Have Four To Six Automatic Watches - revised impression
Once it was set up, this is my first watch winding box. I have a large collection of watches, half automatic, mostly Panerai and Patek. I finally broke down and bought a winding unit when I got a perpetual calendar watch because I figured it would be a hassle to set it when I wanted to wear it. I should have bought one long ago.My new winding unit has been running a week now and it is doing well. All watches are keeping time. I intend to experiment by lowering the setting so the watches move less to reduce wear. up to now I have only installed my large watches, which it handles very well. You can set the right two places independent of the other four so if you have a watch that needs a different protocol, it can accommodate it.I bought two winders at the same time. Both were handsome, but the other one which was a little cheaper was not able to hold the larger watches firmly in place. They flopped around and one of the crowns even scratched the winding unit’s window. Feel like this winding unit is definitely worth the extra money. Extremely attractive, holds watches firmly, light option if you want that, low-noise enough for a bedroom. One note, if you are planning to put in a safe, make sure you have a big safe with a power outlet.Would not hesitate to buy again. Medium cost but excellent performance up to now. If it lasts five years, I would call it perfect. It matches what I needed it for.
