Rotation Programs & TPD Settings

The watch winder offers a fixed TPD: 2880 TPD (Turns Per Day). It has 4 rotation modes: Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), Bi-Directional rotation, or Bi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.

Clockwise (CW) Mode

The watch winder will rotate clockwise under Clockwise Mode. It will rotate for 2 minutes, then stop for 6 minutes. and rotate 8 circles per minute, so 2880 circles in 24 hours.

Counter-Clockwise (CCW) Mode

This watch winder will rotate clockwise under the counter-clockwise mode. It will rotate for 2 minutes, then stop for 6 minutes. and rotate 8 circles per minute, so 2880 circles in 24 hours.

Bi-Directional Mode

The watch winder operates in alternating clockwise and counterclockwise rotations. It rotates clockwise for 2 minutes, then stops for 6 minutes, followed by a counterclockwise rotation for 2 minutes, and then pauses for another 6 minutes. This cycle repeats continuously. The winder completes 8 rotations per minute, resulting in a total of 2,880 rotations over a 24‑hour period.

Non-intermittent Bi-Directional Mode

In this mode, the winder rotates clockwise for 5 minutes and counterclockwise for 5 minutes, repeating this cycle for 3 hours, then rests for 9 hours. It delivers 2,880 rotations per 24 hours (1,440 each direction). Ideal for regular routines and powerful enough for complex movements like the 7750.

Choosing the Right Setting

For optimal performance, we recommend following the rotation direction specified by your watch manufacturer. If that information is unavailable, the Non-intermittent Bi-Directional Mode is a worry‑free choice for most automatic watches. It effectively resolves many winding issues and works reliably with the vast majority of modern movements.

Safe for Automatic Watches

A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.

Low-Magnetic Motor Technology

Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with a magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.

If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound

If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.

Starting a Stopped Watch

A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

No user manual is available for this product.

Precision Carbon Fiber Touch Panel

Boasting an advanced carbon fiber touch control surface, this winder features a modern, highly responsive user interface that enables seamless customization of TPD settings, rotation modes, watch channels and built-in LED illumination.

Secure Top Storage Compartment

The top storage compartment fits 1 to 6 watches based on your unit’s layout, letting you grab your favorite timepieces with ease. Integrated with the front key lock system for full security, this compartment auto-locks as soon as you close and secure the main cabinet door.

Product Questions

The spring pillow fits watch faces up to 53mm, and wrist straps with a perimeter ranging from 148mm to 230mm. It comes with S/M/L three adjustable sizes to fit slim dress watches and large sports chronographs.

It comes with 5 adjustable TPD levels: 650 / 750 / 850 / 1000 / 1950 turns per day. You can switch between them freely via the TPD selection button on the control panel to match the winding requirement of your automatic watches.

This cabinet adopts an interlocking safety design. The transparent top lid will auto-lock and cannot be lifted separately. You have to unlock and open the front main door first, then the top lid can be flipped open. When you close and lock the front door again, the top lid will lock automatically for watch safety.

Most likely yes! Our watch winders work with almost all automatic mechanical watches, including Rolex, Omega, Cartier, IWC, Breitling, Hublot, Tudor, Panerai, and many more. Plus, our adjustable pillows fit both men's and women's watches nicely.

Nope, not a chance. Modern automatic watches have built-in slip clutches to prevent overwinding. And our winders run in cycles with rest periods, just like wearing your watch normally — so it's totally safe.

We use premium Japanese Mabuchi motors — super durable, quiet, and long-lasting. Some models even come with advanced brushless DC motors for smoother and more precise winding.

Most automatic watches need between 650 and 1,000 turns per day (TPD), but it depends on the movement. Our winders let you choose from multiple TPD settings, so you can easily find the right one for your Rolex, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer, or other luxury watch.

Very quiet! With Japanese Mabuchi motors and brushless DC tech, the noise level is typically below 5 dB. You can put one in your bedroom, office, or walk-in closet without being bothered.

We've got you covered with an 18-month warranty and free maintenance. If there's any manufacturing defect within the first month, we'll replace it for free.

My experience with this watch winder

My experience with this watch winder

From my experience, only had the watch winding box cabinets for a few days. up to now, so solid. A handsome piece and reasonably priced. Keeps all of my automatics wound to perfection and ample storage for my Ecodrives up top. It has been a useful addition.

    Love It, after regular use

    Love It, after regular use

In daily use, i reworked my closet shelving just for this winding unit and I love it. It looks excellent and performs very well (up to now). I’ve had some kind of inexpensive watch winders, by watch winding box standards, and they each (3) quit working after a few months. This winding unit is working excellent up to now for 6 months. If it fails, I will update this review. It looks excellent and has excellent options. Being able to change the revolutions per each pair is a excellent feature. I keep all mine on the lowest 650 setting, but it’s excellent to be able to adjust it for troubleshooting watches or if the watch movement requires more. The light is a bit cheesy as it only really luminates the top row, I just leave it off.The only negative about this winding unit is that you will be compelled to fill it up! I would call it a dependable choice.

A fresh look at medium quality chinese winder. buyer beware

A fresh look at medium quality chinese winder. buyer beware

After using it, pros: Looks nice, fairly compact, pretty low-noise, not too costly.Cons: I know it will get louder, customer service is spotty at best, “piano black” finish shows the woodgrain through the paint, $700 is too high for this build.Long: I’ve bought several of these Chinese winders over the years under various brands. It seems that they’re all being made by 1 or 2 larger factories, which then set up smaller brands to sell winders for a year or two before they disappear (along with any long lasting customer service.) You can tell because all the different models under the different brands use the exact same sets of controls and instruction manuals. For a 12-watch winding box, it does a acceptable job. The lowest setting is 650tpd including a 12 hour rest period. I think it is closer to 700, but it won’t kill your watches. But there are only SIX MOTORS. This is stated in the unit description, but needs to be emphasized. The Jins&Vico 8-watch model has 8 separate motors that can be individually controlled. For some reason, the 12-watch model only has 6 motors, each contolling 2 winders. So if you have some watches that need a weird setting, you’d better have 2, otherwise you’ll waste a winding spot. There is no glass. It’s all lacquered wood and plastic panels. The fit and finish are OK, but not up to the level of some of the higher-end brands. The motors are low-noise out of the box, but they will get louder after being used for a few months. They always do. And by that point, the company you purchased it from will probably be gone and operating under some new name. It feels like a sensible purchase.
