Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
This watch winder offers five programmable winding modes: 650, 750, 850, 1000, and 1950 TPD (Turns Per Day). Each mode can be combined with Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), or Bi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.
The motor rotates at approximately 9 turns per minute. In all modes, the rotation speed remains the same. The difference between TPD settings is the length of the pause between operating cycles. Each cycle consists of 1 minute of rotation followed by a programmed rest period, and the duration is about 12 hours for all TPD settings.
| TPD | Rotation Time | Pause Time |
|---|---|---|
| 650 | 1 min | 9.5 min |
| 750 | 1 min | 8.1 min |
| 850 | 1 min | 7 min |
| 1000 | 1 min | 5.8 min |
| 1950 | 1 min | 2.5 min |
Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend selecting the TPD setting and rotation direction recommended by your watch manufacturer. If this information is unavailable, most automatic watches operate normally within the common range of 650–1000 TPD, making these settings suitable for the majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology
Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.
If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound
If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.
Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

Product Questions
The watch winder runs for 2 minutes, then pauses for 6 minutes before starting the next cycle.
There is approximately 1cm of space between the watch and the glass when the lid is closed, depending on the thickness of the watch.
Yes. The unit can automatically pause when the cover is opened, and this feature can also be disabled if preferred.
Most likely yes! Our watch winders work with almost all automatic mechanical watches, including Rolex, Omega, Cartier, IWC, Breitling, Hublot, Tudor, Panerai, and many more. Plus, our adjustable pillows fit both men's and women's watches nicely.
Nope, not a chance. Modern automatic watches have built-in slip clutches to prevent overwinding. And our winders run in cycles with rest periods, just like wearing your watch normally — so it's totally safe.
We use premium Japanese Mabuchi motors — super durable, quiet, and long-lasting. Some models even come with advanced brushless DC motors for smoother and more precise winding.
Most automatic watches need between 650 and 1,000 turns per day (TPD), but it depends on the movement. Our winders let you choose from multiple TPD settings, so you can easily find the right one for your Rolex, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer, or other luxury watch.
Very quiet! With Japanese Mabuchi motors and brushless DC tech, the noise level is typically below 5 dB. You can put one in your bedroom, office, or walk-in closet without being bothered.

Updated thoughts on updated review: perfect product now
My impression is that updated on July 4th:Seller actively contacted me providing a brand new one with very fast delivery. The new one works perfect. Hopefully others will not get a defective one at the first order but at least the customer service is excellent based on my experience. Changing from 3 stars to 5.———————————————————Original review:The switch 2 doesn’t work. When I put it in position 1 and open the front cover, the rotors should automatically stop but they didn’t. I tried position 0 and it’s not functioning either.Overall it’s solid design. It delivers about what I expected.
A straightforward review of this unit
After spending time with it, tried several others. These are so nice and well built, bought 2. Very happy. It is a practical option for everyday use.
Updated Review - revised impression
Once it was set up, in less than 6 months of operation, two of the three winding unit mechanisms became loose. When I contacted the seller, I was instructed on how to take the winding unit apart and tighten the mechanism that attach to the motors. However, this loosening of the mechanism caused damage to the winding unit’s casing due to the rubbing of the watch holder against the winding unit’s box. It did not damage the watches that were in the winding unit at the time, thankfully. After being contacted by the company and providing them with pictures and a video of the damage, they agreed to replace the winding unit fee of charge. I applaud them, and especially Samantha, my customer service advisor, for their resolution in this matter. The box itself is very nice and the winding unit has many excellent features such as backlighting, digital display, and surprisingly low-noise operation. I keep this in my bedroom on a chest of drawers, and from 7 feet away, you can’t hear it work. Now that I know to tighten the watch holders on a regular basis, I think this will be a solid unit. It matches what I needed it for.
Practical feedback after setup
For the money, this box is a looker. Seems to be build built and does the job. I like the way that the watch pillows hold the watch and inserts into the box. With the included small cushion, my wife’s watch fits easily. Some nit picks: the glass is recessed, which looks nice but makes it hard to keep dust and dirt off of the top. The motors are a little louder than I had hoped. Not real bothersome but not exactly silent. Since the motor turn options are set to run in 12 hour cycles, it can be set not to run at night which is nice. This is still quite new so we will have to wait and see about the durability but up to now I would say it’s a keeper. The overall impression is positive.
What I noticed while using it
Overall, nice unit I am satisfied with how it performs.
My experience with this watch case
From my experience, my watch winding box box is amazing! It looks excellent in person especially how the light hits the polished wood. I’ve had mine for about a year now and it still performs very well. In my opinion it’s excellent and would suggest for anyone wanting to buy a watch winding box box. It has been a useful addition.
High Quality Watch Winder, after regular use
In daily use, i am so glad I bought this watch winding box. It is really high build in form and function. I needed the ability to independently wind 3 watches and I can program this accordingly. It is so surprisingly low-noise that I can’t even hear it running in my office right next to me. Highly suggest. I would call it a dependable choice.
A fresh look at great product
After using it, excellent unit It feels like a sensible purchase.
