Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
The watch winder offers a fixed TPD: 2880 TPD (Turns Per Day). It has 4 rotation modes: Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), Bi-Directional rotation, or Non-stop Bi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.
Clockwise (CW) Mode
The watch winder will rotate clockwise under Clockwise Mode. It will rotate for 2 minutes, then stop for 6 minutes, and rotate 8 circles per minute, so 2880 circles in 24 hours.
Counter-Clockwise (CCW) Mode
This watch winder will rotate counterclockwise under the counter-clockwise mode. It will rotate for 2 minutes, then stop for 6 minutes, and rotate 8 circles per minute, so 2880 circles in 24 hours.
Bi-Directional Mode
The watch winder operates in alternating clockwise and counterclockwise rotations. It rotates clockwise for 2 minutes, then stops for 6 minutes, followed by a counterclockwise rotation for 2 minutes, and then pauses for another 6 minutes. This cycle repeats continuously. The winder completes 8 rotations per minute, resulting in a total of 2,880 rotations over a 24‑hour period.
Non-Stop Bidirectional Mode
In this mode, the winder rotates clockwise for 5 minutes and counterclockwise for 5 minutes, repeating this cycle for 3 hours, then rests for 9 hours. It delivers 2,880 rotations per 24 hours (1,440 each direction). Ideal for regular routines and powerful enough for complex movements like the 7750.
Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend following the rotation direction specified by your watch manufacturer. If that information is unavailable, the Non-stop Bi-Directional Mode is a worry‑free choice for most automatic watches. It effectively resolves many winding issues and works reliably with the vast majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology

If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound

Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

Once it was set up, if you could have heard me and my husband unboxing this automatic watch winding box, you would have heard the tone and astonishment on how handsome this is crafted. Not the listing photos will prepare you for how handsome it is, how stunning it is. It absolutely flawless. I bought my husband through the years some very nice automatic watches. One never did the research that they required some movement to keep functioning. One learned fast. In July he hit his 50th birthday and I got him his dream watch. The hunt was now one for the perfect storage. This automatic watch winding box not only holds two in the top storage, it can rotate one to be magnificently displayed. It works so well, there isn’t a flaw on it. It’s very simple to work, I can tell you that his watch is now working perfectly. You will not meet this build anywhere. It’s worth the value and than some to keep your watches working, looking handsome and properly functioning. It matches what I needed it for.

In daily use, this is a top of the line, high build watch winding box, winding unit and storage. I’ve had different watch winders over the years and this one is definitely a dresser top, jewelry box, display box piece, and not one for traveling. You can store a few watches in it also and it does have the glass windows so you can watch things happening. it also lights up inside for a soft glow which is handsome. The box is a high build beautifully made, jewelry box, which will make anyone happy or this would make a perfect gift for that special someone, or a tag along gift to a new watch! Love it and give it an A+ I would call it a dependable choice.
