Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend following the rotation direction specified by your watch manufacturer. If that information is unavailable, the Non-intermittent Bi-Directional Mode is a worry‑free choice for most automatic watches. It effectively resolves many winding issues and works reliably with the vast majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.

If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound

Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

Noisyy but good customer service, after regular use
In daily use, in the beginning it was perfect. It was low-noise and I could sleep with it in the room. However, after a month it developed a loud, mechanical noise and I have to turn it off at night which ruins the whole point of having it. I reached out to the seller to see if it can be changed and he responded he will send a new one! solid timing by seller I would call it a dependable choice.

My impression is that this thing is silent. I have it right next to my bed and I can’t hear it. Looks to be well made. I do wish it was a little smaller, but that’s my personal preference. I like the fact that there are no magnets on the door as with some other winders, since they can damage costly time pieces. I’m very happy with this winding unit It delivers about what I expected.
A fresh look at highly recommended
After using it, i was gifted a two watch winding box for my Rolex and Orient Kamasu, see video. The box is excellent in every way, sturdy, deep gloss ‘piano’ finish, smooth faux leather interior, etc. I have it set for 5 mins CW then 5 mins CCW for 3 hours, then off for 6 hours. After several days of use, my watches are spot on. I’m now looking for a Triple Tree display box for my other watches. It feels like a sensible purchase.
A silent, beautiful winder if you have the space, after regular use
In daily use, this double winding unit is my second of this type. The first from another maker has been a solid performer but this unit excels in one area – silence. The craftsmanship is perfect. I also only needed a single winding unit but bought this double model due to its competitive pricing – not that much more than my single winding unit and other high-rated single winders like it. Other than its bigger size that precludes display on an open shelf and relegates it to a higher space in the cabinet above (a listing dimension when open would help), I have nothing but highest marks for this winding unit. It’s an exceptional winding unit for the cost or any cost. I would call it a dependable choice.

From my experience, i’ve had this a little over a year. The motor was defective after about a year and would turn very slowly; so slowly that it wouldn’t wind my watch. Despite being outside of the 1 year window, I spoke with Zach at Triple Tree and he sent me a replacement. This shows that he values his what he sells, and values the client. I appreciate the gesture and to help ensure that this is a solid unit! It has been a useful addition.

For the money, the finish and opperation of this watch wonder is amazing. I received as a Christmas gift and I can not look away from how it displays my two prized watches. Sound is dead low-noise. Wind options are 4 in total 1 – clockwise for short bursts 2 – counterclockwise does short bursts 3 – alternating for short bursts 4 – alternating for long durations You also have the option to plug it into an outlet or just simply running on batteries. The finish was mirror black and can be a finger print magnet but this is warranted. I give this unit a 10/10 and I absolutely love it! The overall impression is positive.
A straightforward review of this unit
After spending time with it, i’ve only got one problem it will not fit invicta watches there too big and scrape the top of the inside of the acrylic box. I solved the problem with cabinet bumpers which gives about 4mm space between the box while it’s closed. So people be warned invicta watches 50mm and over will not fit in the box while closed it will hit the top of the inside of the box when rotating. It is a practical option for everyday use.
Totally Quiet, after regular use
In daily use, i am very happy with this watch winding box. It is larger than I thought -enough so that my husbands watches were also able to fit inside. This unit is totally soundless. I have it on a table near the bed and I cannot hear it at all. I cannot find anything negative about this and it is also very well made and attractive with the gloss black finish and large viewing window. I do not have to worry about constantly winding and re-setting the time on my automatic watches- they are ready with correct time when I remove them from the unit making it simple to switch watches. The pillows will hold 1 mans watch or 2 womens watches. Thanks for a excellent unit! I would call it a dependable choice.

What I noticed while using it
Overall, i have many mechanical dive watches. I keep them spinning and they keep up to time and up to date. Some will need a few hours adjustment, but the priority with fine mechanical watches is that they keep tumbling along to keep the lubricant working and the springs minimally wound. They also look excellent and are silent. I am a light sleeper and these are 8 feet away and I they never disturb me. I highly suggest these. I have 2. I am satisfied with how it performs.
