Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
The watch winder offers a fixed TPD: 2880 TPD (Turns Per Day). It has 4 rotation modes: Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), Bi-Directional rotation, or Non-committentBi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.

Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend following the rotation direction specified by your watch manufacturer. If that information is unavailable, the Non-committent Bi-Directional Mode is a worry‑free choice for most automatic watches. It effectively resolves many winding issues and works reliably with the vast majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology
Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with a magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.
If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound
If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.
Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

In daily use, really like the box. Color is deep and doesn’t appear to be cheaply made. Lights are a wonderful touch. Only thing that could be improved is possibly the noise. It’s not bad, but if you are not expecting to hear anything and the box starts to rotate and can give you a little bit of a “what’s that?” Moment. I would call it a dependable choice.

My impression is that this winding unit runs reliably with my Rolex and the motor is surprisingly low-noise. It looks excellent. However, I had a single winding unit and bought this so I could also keep another watch wound. I purchased a 1st Cav branded watch during my Vietnam tour in 69. It is much smaller than my Rolex and the winding mechanism is much lighter. It had been in a drawer for most of the time I have been home, but I want to wear it occasionally. This winding unit doesn’t work for this watch. I believe it is because the watches are tilted about 45 degrees from vertical. I’ve tried all the settings and none work. I put this watch in my single winding unit which stores the watch vertically and it appears to be winding properly. Keep this in mind if you have a smaller, lighter automatic watch. It delivers about what I expected.

Customer service rep didn’t seem familiar with registering online even though I provided Amazon purchase date/info as suggested. An Awesome Device - revised impression
Once it was set up, i really like automatic watches… the craftsmanship and thought of all those tiny parts working together is awesome. But I can’t wear them all, so what to do with those I’m not wearing? Well, this is the ideal winding unit! The model I bought can hold up to 4 watches and has several different winding cycles. It’s basically silent, which is pleasant. The finish is smooth and well crafted. I saw some reviews about watches falling, but I don’t see how that’s possible. You can fit your watch on the pillow two different ways and the pillows fit very snuggly in their cradle. Plus with the angle, there’s no real pull to cause a watch to fall to the bottom if it’s properly inserted. When mine arrived, it was missing the key so I contacted the shipper and was sent a replacement right away, so excellent customer support. I can only think of one recommendation. The LED to light up in the side is on the top left side of the case so only the watches on that side get solid illumination. I would recommend the LED be in the center. I can recommend this item. It matches what I needed it for.
