Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
This watch winder offers five programmable winding modes: 650, 750, 850, 1000, and 1950 TPD (Turns Per Day). Each mode can be combined with Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), or Bi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.
The motor rotates at approximately 9 turns per minute. In all modes, the rotation speed remains the same. The difference between TPD settings is the length of the pause between operating cycles. Each cycle consists of 1 minute of rotation followed by a programmed rest period, and the duration is about 12 hours for all TPD settings.

Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend selecting the TPD setting and rotation direction recommended by your watch manufacturer. If this information is unavailable, most automatic watches operate normally within the common range of 650–1000 TPD, making these settings suitable for the majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology
Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.
If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound
If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.
Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

From my experience, this is exactly what I was looking for. I owned two previous watch winders and both had big issues – one was noisy and broke down in less than a year; another one had awkwardly shaped holders that did not securely hold my watches in place. After a lot of comparison shopping I purchased this one and the third time was a charm. Looks excellent. surprisingly low-noise. excellent storage for 8 automatic watches as well as other wind-up/quartz watches up top. I love the vertical orientation that lets you see all of your watches head-on. And the BEST feature is the adjustable watch pillows – they keep each watch securely in place. From my experience, when I received the Jins & Vico winding unit I was quickly impressed; feature rich, customizable, and surprisingly low-noise to operate. It runs at least as quietly as my (overpriced) Wolf winding unit. The integrated light is a nice feature (which would be nice if it was a blacklight (lume!) and worked on a timer), but they key is being able to set it to stop the motors when you open the door. It was excellent for one year when one of the winders stopped working. I reached out to the company and they very quickly sent me a replacement. It was a terrific example of making it right for the customer, and at this cost point it was everything that I expected. This company will have my business for a long time! It has been a useful addition.

One winder stopped working after 5 months, after regular use
In daily use, one winding unit stopped working after 5 months, and After I wrote to the company telling them about the issue, they sent me a new motor with instructions on how to replace it. When that failed to resolve the problem, they are replacing the unit completely. i have a previously purchased which works perfectly and purchased another one.Both look excellent and worked well until 1 motor stopped working. The company must be commended for their attention to resolving the issue to my satisfaction. As this is a large unit and is costly to ship, I understand teh steps they took in resolving the problem before mutually deciding to replace the entire unit.I have dealt with many companies and this one must be rated as excellent because they genuinely want a satisfied customer I would call it a dependable choice.

From my experience, i’m always a bit reluctant to write a review of a watch winding box too quickly after receiving it, because the inevitable question is how long it will last. I’ll try to update this review if things change, but my initial impressions are solid – I have not experienced any of the initial build issues that some reviewers mentioned. Device came out of the box with no exterior flaws, and all winders working smoothly and quietly.Extremely simple to set up and use. Control panel takes only a second to decipher, and once your watches are loaded up it’s very simple to input your preferred settings for each watch. I love the adjustability – five different turns per day (TPD) options (650, 750, 850, 1000, 1950), along with clockwise, counterclockwise, or alternating directions. Each individual winding unit can be stopped, for example when removing a watch, without impacting the operation of the others. LED lights can be turned off and on, and the display shuts down quickly after using the panel. As such, the box will give off no light at all, helpful if keeping in a bedroom. Operation is extremely low-noise as well. Finally, the additional bin at the top of the winding unit to store up to six additional watches is useful.The only potential drawback thus far is the cushions that hold the watches. The winding unit comes with 8 medium-sized cushions installed in the machine, with two small and two large cushions provided as extras. The cushions are the spring-loaded type, so getting watches situated on the cushion is a bit more hassle than just a cushion without a spring system, and creates a certain stress and stretching on the watchband that isn’t my favorite. Fortunately for me, my watches mostly fit on the medium cushions, but the relative quantities of the different cushion sizes could be an issue for other users if they have either very large or very small wrists. My understanding from reading other users’ comments is that the manufacturer will provide more cushions in other sizes if required, but they do not offer the extra cushions for purchase on an a la carte basis. Something to be aware of but not a big issue for me.Again, I’ll try to update if anything changes, but in the early days I am satisfied with the build and functionality for the cost! It has been a useful addition.

After using it, this unit is inexpensive ONLY if you compare it to a Wolf, Orbita, or other premium watch winding box. I had been through a couple of cheaper units like Brookstone, and wanted to step up a little without breaking the bank. I also have at least 6 automatic watches that I want to keep wound. This unit looks solid and up to now-is working very well. If you have any bigger watches with thick clunky bands you may have trouble fitting them into the winders. Fortunately, that only affected a couple of my cheaper dive watches so I don’t care so much about them. It has the usual features: the ability to wind in either direction or both, and there are 3 speeds to choose from. It also has a cool blue light that I only keep on occasionally to preserve the bulbs. My only reservation is how long will this Japanese unit function well? For over $550 I expect to get more then 5 years out of it, so we’ll see. It feels like a sensible purchase.

After spending time with it, i was looking for watch storage that had winders and normal storage. This fit the bill perfectly. The fit and finish is really nice. I had an issue where some of my watches didn’t fit on the standard pillows and reached out to customer service. They sent me the smaller pillows within a few days. Would highly suggest! Once it was set up, i’ve bought this 8 + 6 watch winding box on sale back in August (a little over 7 months ago). I didn’t want to review it back then because nearly all watch winders work well brand new. Now that I’ve been using it for awhile now I can say its been absolutely excellent for me. It was simple to setup and get going. All the motors have worked reliably and quietly. The LED illumination is bright and attractive. The entire presentation is very handsome. When on sale the value is extremely solid. My watch collection ranges from inexpensive (Orient, Tsar Bomba. etc.) to mid range level (Omega and Rolex). Together in this warch winding unit make them all look like a million buck to me. I’m very please with this purchase. It matches what I needed it for.
