Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
The watch winder offers a fixed TPD: 2880 TPD (Turns Per Day). It has 4 rotation modes: Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), clockwise+counterclockwise, or non-intermittent clockwise+counterclockwise, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.
Clockwise (CW) Mode
Counter-Clockwise (CCW) Mode
clockwise+counterclockwise
This watch winder alternates between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, running for 2 minutes in each direction with 6-minute pauses in between. It performs 8 rotations per minute, totaling 2,880 rotations in 24 hours (1,440 in each direction). This mode is suitable for watches that support both winding directions, or those requiring this specific setting.
Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend selecting the TPD setting and rotation direction recommended by your watch manufacturer. If this information is unavailable, most automatic watches operate normally within the common range of 650–1000 TPD, making these settings suitable for the majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology
Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.
If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound
If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.
Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.
No user manual is available for this product.
Multifunction Storage Drawer
The integrated soft-lined drawer is designed for more than watches, providing convenient storage for jewelry, bracelets, rings, cash, phones, charging accessories, and other valuables.
Independent Dual Knob Control
Two precision knobs independently control dual winding zones, allowing easy customization of TPD settings and rotation modes for multiple automatic watches.
Product Questions
Set the watch winder to mode 1, check whether the power plug is properly connected, and confirm that the switch is turned on. Then try using batteries to test whether the watch winder works. If it still does not work, check the “ON/OFF” control switch and toggle it on and off once to see if it functions properly.
We use premium Japanese Mabuchi motors for durability, low noise, and long-lasting performance. Selected models also feature advanced brushless DC motors for smoother, more precise winding.
This product features a highly adaptable watch pillow suitable for watches with a dial diameter up to 53mm and a thickness within 20mm. The inner strap diameter range is 47–62mm. Larger men’s watches or oversized watches can be placed vertically for secure fixation, while women’s watches or smaller timepieces can be placed horizontally for a better fit.
Most likely yes! Our watch winders work with almost all automatic mechanical watches, including Rolex, Omega, Cartier, IWC, Breitling, Hublot, Tudor, Panerai, and many more. Plus, our adjustable pillows fit both men's and women's watches nicely.
Nope, not a chance. Modern automatic watches have built-in slip clutches to prevent overwinding. And our winders run in cycles with rest periods, just like wearing your watch normally — so it's totally safe.
We use premium Japanese Mabuchi motors — super durable, quiet, and long-lasting. Some models even come with advanced brushless DC motors for smoother and more precise winding.
Most automatic watches need between 650 and 1,000 turns per day (TPD), but it depends on the movement. Our winders let you choose from multiple TPD settings, so you can easily find the right one for your Rolex, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer, or other luxury watch.
Very quiet! With Japanese Mabuchi motors and brushless DC tech, the noise level is typically below 5 dB. You can put one in your bedroom, office, or walk-in closet without being bothered.
We've got you covered with an 18-month warranty and free maintenance. If there's any manufacturing defect within the first month, we'll replace it for free.
