Rotation Programs & TPD Settings

This watch winder offers five programmable winding modes: 650, 750, 850, 1000, and 1950 TPD (Turns Per Day). Each mode can be combined with Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), or Bi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.

The motor rotates at approximately 9 turns per minute. In all modes, the rotation speed remains the same. The difference between TPD settings is the length of the pause between operating cycles. Each cycle consists of 1 minute of rotation followed by a programmed rest period, and the duration is about 12 hours for all TPD settings.

TPD Rotation Time Pause Time
650 1 min 9.5 min
750 1 min 8.1 min
850 1 min 7 min
1000 1 min 5.8 min
1950 1 min 2.5 min

Choosing the Right Setting

For optimal performance, we recommend selecting the TPD setting and rotation direction recommended by your watch manufacturer. If this information is unavailable, most automatic watches operate normally within the common range of 650–1000 TPD, making these settings suitable for the majority of modern movements.

Safe for Automatic Watches

A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.

Low-Magnetic Motor Technology

Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.

If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound

If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.

Starting a Stopped Watch

A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

Equipped with Authentic Quiet Mabuchi Motors, Noise Level Under 10dB

Fitted with noise-isolated motors running below 10dB, far quieter than a quiet bedroom’s 30dB ambient noise. It sits quietly by your bedside overnight without disrupting sleep. Super Flexible Adjustable Pillows for Large-Size Watches

Equipped with super flexible adjustable watch pillows, it comes with 4 extra large & small spare cushions. It perfectly fits wristwatches with a maximum diameter of 66mm, thickness within 20mm and strap perimeter under 195mm. Product Questions

TPD stands for Turns Per Day, the daily rotation cycles for automatic watch winding. This winder supports customizable TPD settings to match different mechanical watch requirements, letting you set proper daily turns to avoid under-winding or over-winding your watch movement.

The sturdy screw lock comes with dedicated keys to fully secure the cabinet door. It prevents accidental opening and protects your valuable watches from dust, scratches or unauthorized access, offering safe storage for luxury timepieces.

The soft blue LED strip inside can be turned off freely. You may disable the light when using the winder in your bedroom at night for a fully dark, quiet running state without light interference.

Most likely yes! Our watch winders work with almost all automatic mechanical watches, including Rolex, Omega, Cartier, IWC, Breitling, Hublot, Tudor, Panerai, and many more. Plus, our adjustable pillows fit both men's and women's watches nicely.

Nope, not a chance. Modern automatic watches have built-in slip clutches to prevent overwinding. And our winders run in cycles with rest periods, just like wearing your watch normally — so it's totally safe.

We use premium Japanese Mabuchi motors — super durable, quiet, and long-lasting. Some models even come with advanced brushless DC motors for smoother and more precise winding.

Most automatic watches need between 650 and 1,000 turns per day (TPD), but it depends on the movement. Our winders let you choose from multiple TPD settings, so you can easily find the right one for your Rolex, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer, or other luxury watch.

Very quiet! With Japanese Mabuchi motors and brushless DC tech, the noise level is typically below 5 dB. You can put one in your bedroom, office, or walk-in closet without being bothered.

We've got you covered with an 18-month warranty and free maintenance. If there's any manufacturing defect within the first month, we'll replace it for free.
