From my experience, if you are looking at this, you probably already know what a watch winding box is and what it is for. Let me tell you a few specifics about this one. First of all, the lock on the right side locks both top and front doors. It only comes with one key, so if you lose the key when the door is locked, then you probably have to re-order through the company and wait for it to come to you. The watch pillows are fantastic. They fit all my watches and bracelets with the varying degrees of size. I lock mind down completely like I would on my wrist and let the spring adjustment on the cushion hold the watch fast. It took me awhile to figure out but there are 12 watch slots but you can only adjust them in pairs. That is to say, watch slot #1 and #2 are number “1m” on the panel readout. Which means that the rotation pattern you choose for the first watch slot willl apply to the second one also. So, you have control over six pairs of watch slots. Nota big deal to me but something to be aware of. I have a very hard to power up/wind watch with a bespoke movement that most watch winders cannot handle. By choosing the highest setting winding pattern, this watch winding box did manage to power it up. Fantastic! My other automatic watches powered up just fine under the default setting (mostly ETA movements). You can “turn off” the watch slots (again in pairs) so you can place your quartz and manual wind watches in this cabinet without having them undergo the rotational winding process. For example, in my picture, only the top row are automatics, rows #2 & #3 are quartz of manual wind and do not rotate as I have turned their slots off. So it is a excellent way to show off all your watches as long as you have 12 or less, lol. Lastly, this is. heavy piece. It comes in a huge box that I am happy to say is packed very well and protects the unit very well. Lifting the thing is a little challenge and in some ways, this watch winding box looks and functions more like a piece of furniture rather than a watch box. I’ve tossed my 24-slot watch box which sat of my dresser for this winding unit which sits next to me at my desk. A much more fun way to choose a watch without having to worry about whether it is powered up or not. It’s a fun toy if you can afford it. I’m glad I have one for my collection. It has been a useful addition.

After using it, the Lukdof 12 slot watch winding box box is an attractive and from all indications, a qualitatively constructed device. I have some degree of hesitancy to fully commend this device as I’m not sure it isn’t merely a rebranded Jins & Vico winding unit which has mixed reviews in relation to longevity. That said, I’ve only had this one for a short period and haven’t noticed any critical performance issues however generally speaking I’ve found vertically oriented winders superior to those with slanted turnstiles. It also has to be factored in higher profile multi slot winders of this type can command prices ten times or more as compared to this unit which is a significant consideration when in reality, any winding unit is an entirely discretionary accessory for any automatic watch collection.The outer box is a high gloss wood grain laminate. The plexigass glass front door features the same high gloss laminated wood grain and stainless steel framing encapsuling the display glass. The door can be locked with a provided skeleton key and the upper storage section which will accomodate an additional six watches is locked by the same mechanism. The top section can only be opened when the main compartment door is ajar. The interior is optionally illuminated by blue LED lamps which can be activated via rear positioned switch or the interior positioned control panel which also facilitates user selection of individual pairs winding unit start/stop, rotational direction (Clockwise, counter clockwise, alternating), assignment of operational modes (five options for six paired winding unit units, from 650 to 1950 TPD). The interior also has a few faux diamond studs which are fundamentally frivolous ornamentation. The back panel has switches for power and disabling the interior lighting.My major criticisms are two turnstiles are operated as a set which places greater stress on the associated motors and the inability to independently inactivate the paired sets so an empty watch slot will continue to run on days a specific watch is worn but at the cost point a few compromises have to be accepted. The motors are low-noise in operation and smoothly turn…although it appears paired sets have to be balanced in weight otherwise the turnstile with the heavier watch may rotate at a slower rate regardless of TPD setting for that module. But as noted earlier, at the cost point it is not so much of a deficiency that I find this device unacceptable.The adaptable PU leather covered cushion holders work on a spring tension system and should accommodate most watch bands. The packaging includes additional two cushions each of larger and smaller size. In order to secure a watch on the cushion holder is necessary to close or lock any clasps and the watch will stably rotate when the motor drives commence operation. Generally speaking, my mechanicals do not have the number of complications requiring tedious resets if they wind down so for my personal needs and preferences this winding unit is far more of a convenience than necessity so the cost savings over competitive devices with greater precision makes this one worth acceptance of the mentioned deficiencies. It feels like a sensible purchase.

From my experience, this watch winding box is absolutely stunning, the workmanship is amazing, and the winding mechanism seems t o work well to keep my watches on. It has been a useful addition.

After using it, absolutely handsome hardwood finish. Truly a statement piece that I truly enjoy. Very simplistic to use and maintain. Watches are kept on time and the system in next to silent. I would highly suggest. It feels like a sensible purchase.

My impression is that this automatic watch winding box is handsome, functional and really makes a statement. If you are a collector of watches, this is definitely for you. It is simple to use, and it takes all the guess work out of keeping your watches ready for use. I like how easy it is to take the watches in and out, whomever designed this is someone who understands that this is often time consuming, but not with this design. I also like that you can have all 18 watches on display, so choosing which watch to wear for the day is easy. You can easily use this for both men’s and women’s watches, as the watch holders are easily adjustable for the different band lengths. This automatic watch winding box is large and has a solid amount of weight to it, but that’s because it is well made. It is something you’re going to put in place and leave it there. Overall, this is a must have for serious watch collectors who want to display their watches and keep them wound when not in use. It delivers about what I expected.
