Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
This watch winder offers five programmable winding modes: 650, 750, 850, 1000, and 1950 TPD (Turns Per Day). Each mode can be combined with Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), Clockwise + Counter-Clockwise , Super Clockwise + Counter-Clockwise, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.
Clockwise
In this mode, the watch rotates clockwise for 1 minute, then pauses for a period based on the selected TPD setting. This cycle repeats for 12 hours, followed by a 12-hour rest period before restarting. The rotation speed is approximately 8 turns per minute.
Counter-Clockwise
In this mode, the watch rotates counterclockwise for 1 minute, then pauses according to the selected TPD setting. The cycle repeats for 12 hours, followed by a 12-hour rest period before restarting. The rotation speed is approximately 8 turns per minute.
Clockwise + Counter-Clockwise
In this mode, the watch alternates between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation for 1 minute each, with pauses based on the selected TPD setting. The cycle runs for 12 hours, followed by a 12-hour rest period before restarting. The rotation speed is approximately 8 turns per minute. Recommended if you are unsure of your watch’s winding direction.
Super Clockwise + Counter-Clockwise
In this mode, the watch winder alternates between clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. The rotation pattern is 1 minute clockwise, followed by a pause based on the selected TPD setting, then 1 minute counterclockwise, followed by another pause. This cycle repeats for 12 hours, followed by a 12-hour rest period before restarting. The rotation speed is approximately 12 turns per minute. This mode is recommended if your watch is difficult to wind or does not receive sufficient winding power at a rotation speed of 8 turns per minute.
TPD Selection
The rotary dial is marked with “1/2/3/4/5” corresponding to the selector knob for operating mode selection, with “1” corresponding to 650 TPD, “2” corresponding to 750 TPD, “3” corresponding to 850 TPD, “4” corresponding to 1000 TPD, and “5” corresponding to 1950 TPD mode.

Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend selecting the TPD setting and rotation direction recommended by your watch manufacturer. If this information is unavailable, most automatic watches operate normally within the common range of 650–1000 TPD, making these settings suitable for the majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology

If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound
If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.
Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

Once it was set up, if you could have heard me and my husband unboxing this automatic watch winding box, you would have heard the tone and astonishment on how handsome this is crafted. Not the listing photos will prepare you for how handsome it is, how stunning it is. It absolutely flawless. I bought my husband through the years some very nice automatic watches. One never did the research that they required some movement to keep functioning. One learned fast. In July he hit his 50th birthday and I got him his dream watch. The hunt was now one for the perfect storage. This automatic watch winding box not only holds two in the top storage, it can rotate one to be magnificently displayed. It works so well, there isn’t a flaw on it. It’s very simple to work, I can tell you that his watch is now working perfectly. You will not meet this build anywhere.
