Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
This watch winder offers five programmable winding modes: 650, 750, 850, 1000, and 1950 TPD (Turns Per Day). Each mode can be combined with Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), or Bi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.
The motor rotates at approximately 9 turns per minute. In all modes, the rotation speed remains the same. The difference between TPD settings is the length of the pause between operating cycles. Each cycle consists of 1 minute of rotation followed by a programmed rest period, and the duration is about 12 hours for all TPD settings.

Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend selecting the TPD setting and rotation direction recommended by your watch manufacturer. If this information is unavailable, most automatic watches operate normally within the common range of 650–1000 TPD, making these settings suitable for the majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology
Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.
If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound
If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.
Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

After spending time with it, my girlfriend give this as anniversary present the first thing I gonna said is the wooden box had a sleek design, comes with 6 slots but also had to storage more watches on the top. for me is a excellent value cuz is like a bundle, after used for 2 months still a solid value is actually doing the job keeping the watches ready to go, is silent you barely hear the noise, another point that I want to said is the easiest to use and program is for me just take 10 min to program comes with extra pillows with different sizes the light is a very convenient position and looks solid, the auto stop option is very convenient to remove your watches without damaged, inside the box is a card with a card for long warranty period and for me is a extra because is something happen with the winding unit you know they gonna help you. nothing else to say time to enjoy my winding unit. It is a practical option for everyday use.
Updated thoughts on truly unlike any other winder i've owned
My impression is that definitely wanted to share my thoughts on this winding unit after having owned and used it for a bit over a month now. I have the 6+4 walnut winding unit, here are some pros and cons:Pros:Extremely low-noise. with the door closed you can hardly hear the motors.LED Lights are bright and will charge the lume on the watches closest to them, but they can easily be turned off when not needed, such as if you had this by your bedside.Locking cabinet doors. I like that you cannot access the top door unless the front has been opened first. This allows the watch box to stay locked by using the key and prevent access to the top door simultaneously.The Watch pillows are sturdy and have nice spring tension to keep the watches secured. Unlike others using foam or cloth pillows, which get dirty and deformed over time, these are a welcomed upgrade for sure!Auto-stop option when the winding unit door is opened. This is a genius feature as when I open the door it will be to add or remove a watch and I’d like the motors to stop for me to do that. Other inexpensive winders I’ve had will keep spinning when the winding unit door is opened, which gets annoying fast.Long warranty period – this is nice to have especially with peace of mind since the cost of this winding unit is over $1,000Cons:Keeping it clean can be a challenge. I have dogs and with the dust and dog hair that gets tossed everywhere, it can be a bit hard to keep this watch box clean. But that said, it looks stunning when its been wiped down! Plus it does perform one of its main functions, keeping dust and debris off the watches.Replacement locking pillows are included, but if you have smaller ladies watches with a bracelet, it may not fit on the cushion, even using the smaller size.It is heavy. A very minor con, but worth mentioning, if you plan to move this often, its a tad heavy…be careful.My recommendation is that if you are a serious watch collector and enthusiast, this winding unit will serve its purpose of keeping your watches running, but does it in a way that is stylish and truly luxurious. Its as much a statement piece as it is a functional piece. Enjoy! It delivers about what I expected.

What I noticed while using it
Overall, i bought this for my father for his 75th birthday and he absolutely loves it. He was pretty happy and even started crying a little when I gave it to him, guess old age makes him a little sappy.Right from the start you can tell the craftsmanship is top notch. It has some weight, at least 10+ lbs, feels like it is made of solid wood not inexpensive particle board.The box comes with a nice looking key to help lock and secure the watches from being taken out.The glass they used is fingerprint resistant to help keep it clean.When you open the box there is an LED blue light that helps illuminate the watches making it not only look elegant but easier to see. When you open the box you have it stop rotating the watches which is what he dies or it can continue to go.It has multiple settings Clockwise Mode/ Counter-Clockwise Mode/Clockwise + Counter-Clockwise mode (3 modes setting and 5 Stage Setting Modes).You can plug the watch winding box box in via AC adaptor.The best part about the watch winding box besides it being a really cool gift for my farther is that it doesn’t make much noise. I tis pretty low-noise!I like it so much I am going to buy me the upgraded version for 12 watches. I am satisfied with how it performs.
My experience with this watch case
From my experience, contrary to another popular review, I had no issues finding the same color “small” size cushions for the watch winding box on amazon. They were actually delivered before the watch winding box. up to now this has been working perfectly and is keeping my watches wound and working. I haven’t measured whether it is actually spinning 650 or 750, etc. times per day but up to now my watches haven’t stopped since they’ve been in there and they are keeping solid time (a few seikos, hamilton, tissot).It also looks excellent. It’s a real eye-catcher and I know people will ask about it when they see it. Build build seems to be top notch. Happy customer up to now. It has been a useful addition.
A fresh look at lukdof 6+4
After using it, i have been using this for about 2 weeks. up to now I am very pleased with the operation and build of the unit. The motors are surprisingly low-noise and the noise level is discernible when door is closed. The unit arrived and was packed very well to avoid damage. The first one I received had a scratch on the stainless frame around the door. Customer service was excellent. They replaced it quickly. New one is flawless. The walnut cabinet is vey nice. Looks like a much more costly unit. Currently using to store my Rolex, Longines and Christopher Ward watches. Unit is performing as expected. I definitely suggest based on first impressions and first few weeks of use. It feels like a sensible purchase.
