Rotation Programs & TPD Settings
This watch winder offers five programmable winding modes: 650, 750, 850, 1000, and 1950 TPD (Turns Per Day). Each mode can be combined with Clockwise (CW), Counter-Clockwise (CCW), or Bi-Directional rotation, allowing you to match the requirements of a wide range of automatic watches.
The motor rotates at approximately 9 turns per minute. In all modes, the rotation speed remains the same. The difference between TPD settings is the length of the pause between operating cycles. Each cycle consists of 1 minute of rotation followed by a programmed rest period, and the duration is about 12 hours for all TPD settings.

Choosing the Right Setting
For optimal performance, we recommend selecting the TPD setting and rotation direction recommended by your watch manufacturer. If this information is unavailable, most automatic watches operate normally within the common range of 650–1000 TPD, making these settings suitable for the majority of modern movements.
Safe for Automatic Watches
A common concern among collectors is whether a watch winder can damage a mechanical watch. The answer is no. Modern automatic watches are designed to regulate the energy stored in the mainspring, preventing damage from normal winding activity. A watch winder simply simulates the natural motion of daily wear and will not harm a properly functioning movement.
Low-Magnetic Motor Technology
Our watch winders use low-magnetic precision motors combined with magnetic-isolation design. The motor assembly is positioned at a safe distance from the watches, helping minimize magnetic exposure while providing reliable and quiet operation.
If Your Watch Is Not Fully Wound
If a watch is not maintaining sufficient power reserve, the cause may be related to movement characteristics, winding direction, TPD settings, or the condition of the movement itself. In many cases, the watch winder is not the primary cause. Please refer to our FAQ section for troubleshooting guidance.
Starting a Stopped Watch
A watch winder is designed to maintain a running automatic watch, not to rapidly build a full power reserve from a completely stopped condition. If your watch has stopped, we recommend manually winding it several turns before placing it into the winder. Once an initial power reserve has been established, the watch winder can keep the watch running and ready to wear.

My impression is that this unit ran for about 20 minutes. I loaded it up with all my watches and looks sleek and handsome. After a while I went to check on it and it was no longer rotating. I found a silica packet that was jamming the rotator, removed it and none of the motors are functional.The motor burning out from something so small worries me. This one is going back.Update: Customer service reached out and sent a new one. Works perfect and top notch and customer service is 5 stars! Thanks Triple Tree team. After using it, i am very pleased with this watch winding box. It is able to keep 4 watches wound and has room for 6 other watches. I have owned several watch winders and one thing I like about this one are the different settings available. But the thing I think that sets this one apart are the cushion cushions that the watches sit on. I have several different watch bands from leather to metal, and the cushion cushions are easily placed within the watch band, and fit securely within the turntable holders. Also, the black lacquer finish looks excellent in any location.And, the built in LED illumination light which is blue is handsome when on.For the cost, I do not think you can find a watch winding box that looks as solid and has the features of this one. It feels like a sensible purchase.

Overall, i received this watch winding box for Christmas from my wife and I was totally surprised! I couldn¡¯t believe how nice this winding unit is! I¡¯m even more surprised that my wife picked up on all the details I wanted for my watch winding box. I love that I have multiple options for sizes of cushions for my watches, it has four different modes to choose how the motor spins the watches and its aesthetically pleasing. The piano black finish is super shiny and glistens when you look at it. The blue led light is nice touch, and I¡¯ve found it actually charges up the lumes on my watch faces and dials really well. It also helps me find the watch I want so I don¡¯t have to wake up my wife and turn the lights on. The motors are surprisingly low-noise, and I don¡¯t notice any noise while I¡¯m sleeping. The locking feature is nice to have as well but not needed in my box. It came with a nice micro fiber cloth to clean the watches and a power cable. I wish the cable was a little longer but its not a deal breaker at all. The box itself is extremely sturdy but elegant, with the medal hinges and the plastic cover. The watch winding box can also be powered by batteries under neither box or plugged into portable power.I was showing my wife multiple watch winders that cost way more than I thought we could afford, after now seeing how much she got this for, I am shocked at how excellent a unit this is for the cost!I typically don¡¯t review products but I am so happy with this gift, I had to! From my experience, this the second watch winding box that I got from triple tree. This winding unit has 6 spaces for manual winding, or Quartz movement watches. The built build is as solid as the first one I have. It does make a little bit of noise, maybe due to I placed 2 winders next to each other. For the money, i got this used. I was surprised that someone would return something so handsome. The only issue I have is there isn’t a way to turn the blue light off individually. It makes it impractical in a bedroom. However it looks very slick and you can store 10 watches in it, 4 winding at the same time. People complaining about it constantly not turning do not know the unit or how it works. It should only wind once ever 6 minutes or so for 2 minutes depending on the setting. Get your citizens, Seikos, Tissots, and other favorite brands and getting them moving! The overall impression is positive.
